Machine Learning Engineer, Core Experimentation

About the role

ML engineer on the Statsig team inside OpenAI, which builds the experimentation and rollout platform behind every OpenAI product. Based in the Bellevue office.

What you'll do

• Lead the roadmap for generative insights and predictive experimentation, from prototype to production.
• Build predictive and simulation models that estimate impact and regression risk before a full launch.
• Set up rigorous evaluation: backtests, calibration and drift monitoring.
• Turn models into product, API and agent workflows that teams use for high-stakes decisions.

Requirements

• Experience leading ambiguous 0-to-1 production ML products judged by real-world decisions.
