Product Operations Lead, Generative AI

About the role

Scale AI is hiring a Product Operations Lead for its Generative AI business unit, bridging operational teams and product/engineering to shape the tools and processes behind frontier AI data projects. The role is based in San Francisco or New York.

What you'll do

• Own the link between Operations and Product, surfacing operator needs and shaping a grounded product roadmap
• Modernize operations tooling with agents: decide which workflows agents should handle, improve them through evals, and redesign processes around them
• Lead high-priority, operations-heavy initiatives from planning through adoption
• Define success metrics with Product and Engineering partners and make data-driven calls
• Use SQL, Python and coding agents to quantify problems and measure shipped impact

Requirements

• 4+ years in product operations, technical program management, strategy ops or delivery ops at high-growth tech companies; ideally 6+ months delivering GenAI data pipelines
• Ability to perform independent data analysis with SQL or Python; CS/STEM background preferred
• Strong product sense and influence across Product, Engineering and Ops without direct authority
• Familiarity with how GenAI data projects are staffed, run and delivered
• Entrepreneurial, high-ownership mindset comfortable with 0-to-1 ambiguity

Compensation

Base salary range of $180,800–$226,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.
