Enterprise AI Development Strategist

About the role

Scale AI is hiring an Enterprise AI Development Strategist to generate and qualify enterprise pipeline while educating prospects about Scale's AI infrastructure and data methodology. The role reports to vertical sales leadership and acts as a bridge into strategic enterprise AI sales, with real ownership of early-stage opportunities.

What you'll do

• Own outbound prospecting and customer engagement through Stage 2 qualification
• Lead discovery conversations and build narratives, content, and research for high-potential accounts
• Teach prospective customers about Scale's capabilities, AI workflows, and output methodology
• Coordinate with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and GTM Strategy, and hand off qualified deals to Account Executives
• Keep CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility strong using Salesforce and related tools

Requirements

• 1-2 years as an account executive or 4+ years in outbound sales, BDR/SDR, business development, or closing roles
• Track record of generating qualified pipeline and beating activity or revenue targets
• Consultative communication and discovery skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Experience selling SaaS, infrastructure, data, or technical products preferred
• Curiosity or familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data infrastructure; Salesforce, Outreach, Clari a plus

The role is eligible for sales commissions and equity.
